OLI-NATURA Hard Wax Oil with hard carnauba wax gently highlights the colour of the wood, giving its surface a silky feel. After applying one to two coats with a roller, brush or spray, it is easy to work in, whether you use a pad or not. In a stain resistance test it has been shown to be highly resistant against household chemicals and liquids (DIN 68861, 1B - selected media). It is produced without cobalt-containing compounds and does not contain biocides or preservatives. Once set, the material is safe for humans, animals and plants. It is resistant to saliva and sweat pursuant to DIN 53160 and corresponds to DIN EN 71-3 (safety of toys). The hard wax oil is authorised by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt). Usage: The surface must be finely sanded, clean, dry, and free of dust and oils. Shake the container well. Working in sections, pour oil for 5-10 m² (40-50 g / m² depending on type of wood) onto the surface and spread thinly and evenly with a flat brush, microfibre roller or whitewash brush. Flooring/stairs: After leaving the oil to soak in for 30-45 mins. rub in by hand using a white pad or a single-disc/rotary sander until the surface appears uniformly matt. After 6-8 hours, repeat the procedure as described above. Furniture/table tops: In general, 1 coat is sufficient. It is not necessary to rub it in using a pad. Remove any excess material with a cloth after max. 10 minutes. Depending on humidity and temperature, the treated surface will be fully resilient in 2-3 days. Protect it from water during this period. Consumption: 1-2 coats with 40-50 g/m², yield per coat: 20-25 m²/l
